Treasure Island Wines is centrally located to all the Northern California wine growing regions. Unlike all other custom crush facilities, we have a location that is ideal for long term barrel storage without the need of extensive artificial climate control. The average temperature on Treasure Island is between 55 and 64 degrees year round and the average humidity is between 60-70%-an ideal natural storage climate. The tempering influence of the San Francisco Bay naturally provides TIW with the optimum conditions for aging and minimal evaporative loss. As a result we can offer long term barrel storage service at rates competitive with outlying facilities as well as contribute to carbon offsets we will be offering on the CCX. We also enjoy access to all major Bay Area retail markets as well as close proximity to inter-modal transportation shipping facilities including I-80 and the Port of Oakland.
